Qualifications to register to vote
You must be:
- a Canadian citizen
- 18 year of age on election day
- resident of BC for 6 months
- resident of Richmond for 30 days
- and you must not be disqualified by law from voting
To vote please have two pieces of ID

Voting Places for 2001 Civic By-Election Saturday, October 13, 2001
The 2001 Civiv By-Election to be held on Saturday, October 13, will be an “at-large-election” rather than voting on a divisional basis. This allows voters to choose to vote at one of the following places, whichever is most convenient to them. Voting hours are from 8 am to 8 pm.
